Obsolete calibers in a Handi-rifle

I know according to the gun writers,that this isnt possible.A picture of my mulie taken here in Arizona Unit 3b with my 38-55 Target Handi. He isn't real big,but he will eat real fine.

I gots me a couple o dem obsolete calibres too!!  32-20, 25-35, 307 Win, 38-55.... I'll have more too!!  32-40, 30-40, 356

The .38-55 may be the ideal lead bullet cartridge. Out to at least 200 yards it's a good as anything out there, for white tail or elk. Same weight bullet as the .44 mag, higher velocities than .44 mag and greater cross sectional density (read: penetration).

Can never go wrong with the .38-55.  ;D

Many gun writers work just like the mainstream media... they're just out to hawk somebody's goods.

If I could only shoot one cartridge, it would be .38-55.
