I bought one used about ten years back with a broken trigger...  15$ and it was fixed but safety was broken. No biggie I never leave then cocked anyhow.

I have shot all kinds of vermin around the house. Biggest was a porky pine  tons of rabbits and squirrels, starlings  and crows.

The day I got it shooting I shot a big grey squirrel going in a metal garbage can..." BOING" (they don't go bang ;) ). Then " TINK" the pellet went thru both sides of the squirrel and heavily dented the can!  I was impressed!!

I like it allot! I have a cheap air gun scope with a set of target turrets. Makes it nice for longer shots you site it close then adjust for longer shots.

Howdy:

For the money, the RWS-34 is in a class by itself. Saying that, I also own/shoot a Beeman 22, top of the line. Most of the time, I use my RWS, it's much lighter than the Beeman. My Beeman is the Model R-1 which I bought new, made in Germany.

You didn't ask this; but I feel as I should tell you this, also. My cousin and I both bought QB-78 Deluxe rifles in 22 caliber. This has become one of my favorite air guns of all times, and it's made in China. This rifle is CO2 powered, you can use 1 or 2 cartridges of CO2 in it, and this thing shoots. It's extremely accurate, has a decent trigger, and enough power to kill anything that you shoot an airgun with. No, I don't own any stock in them, but I will say, for the money, it is the best buy you'll ever get in any air gun. Just thought I had to tell you this.

Don't get me wrong, I dearly love my German made air rifles, but, after awhile, my ole arms get tired cocking them. I shoot every day I can from my front porch, and my back yard range.

All the best,

thanks for the replys. i own a qb 77. in .177, a qb 78, in .22 and an original crossman 160, in .22, which the qb,s were patterned after. the qb,s are an excellent design! but they have had qc problems. power! accuracy! recoiless! if it werent for spotty quality control, they would sell a whole bunch more of them! look up mac1airguns. they do a super tune on qb,s and they are worth every penny!

the rws is one of the best guns out there at it's price point. i have three of them. 177,20, and 22 they are all shooters. i'm considering picking up another in 22 just to try out the new t06 trigger. i'm told they are the best trigger so far to come from diana
