How many folks hunt fall turkey? Now that they have gone to a month long season in October I decided I would start putting in for the lottery. Plenty of turkey's were I bowhunt. I see it more as an opportunity to take a turkey if they amble by while I'm deer hunting rather than a go after the turkey only kinda of hunt. Mostly hunting from the ground in the main area I hunt. None the less if I draw I'll be keeping an extra eye out for turkey's for sure!
