Anyone shoot a CZ 527 in 222?

Looking for a triple deuce and the 527 Lux Full Stock caught my eye. Wondering if anyone has any experience with the CZ and their likes and dislikes.

I don't think you will find many complaints. Well made, accurate, reasonable price. About the only thing some folks don't like is the protruding magazine, right at the balance point for one hand carry. IF that is an issue, there is a gunsmith who does a "magazinectomy", shortening the magazine and removing the protruding metal in front of the trigger guard.  A .222 would be a bit unusual, probably special order. I am pretty sure they take dedicated mags, so if you go that route, I'd suggest you stock up on a few extra, in case the chambering is discontinued. Also, some folks may find the safety "backwards", rear to fire. I like it, just think of cocking a revolver. The single set trigger is sweet, and if a person doesn't want to use it, no big deal, trigger works just fine in "normal" mode.

:)   Have a CZ in .22 mag...the only thing that I truely dislike IS the backwards safety..if you only shot CZ's no problem..but most of mine operate the other way...usually, I just leave the chamber empty until I am ready to shoot and chamber a round then...for what I use the rifle for it works fine...I think a guy could easily just love a CZ in .222...While the .223 is all the rage today, due to cheap ammo, my first choice would be the .222...have shot it for almost 50 years...not the same one, good luck..a great caliber in a fine rifle...
