35 Remington Leverevolution ia G2 contender?

Will my G2 35 Remington Super 14  handle the Hornady Leverevoultion ammo safely?

Leverevolution ammo is loaded to SAAMI specs, as per Hornaday.  I called their tech. line about the 45/70 version, (325 grain bullet at over 2000 fps, as compared to the industry standard 300 grain at 1800 fps.) and was told that all of that line of ammo was safe in any modern weapon in good condition, originally chambered for the round in question.

Yes, it will be fine. I have spoken with a couple of guys shooting the 35 Rem Hornady ammo from their Contender barrels and getting very good accuracy. I haven't tried it myself, mostly due to cost and stubbornness (it's hard for me to bring myself to shoot any factory ammo).

They do sell the component bullets, and I've been tempted to try them.

Thanks for the info. My Contender is shooting very well with Remington Core-Lockt, so it shouldn't take many rounds to dial in the Hornady. Of course, it might shoot so good that I blow through a box or two "just havin' fun!!!"

that ammo shoots very well from my 14" contender barrel.. I have bought the FT bullets and are reloading them w/Varget a couple of 100 fps slower that the factory rounds..accuracy is great.
