Ben, once you're past the brass, it does load for pennies, and it is a hoot to shoot.  Are you telling me you have no squirrels, rabbits, 'possums, skunks, armadillos, racoons, etc. in your part of Jawga?  They don't allow us to use rifles on turkey in MI, but I think it would make a fine turkey riffle where it is legal.  I may just have to haul it down to Florida and hunt Oceolas with my friend Wayne.  I haven't done that in a few years.

We can only use shotguns and rimfire for small game.  I guess they are afraid we will hurt them too much with centerfire...... :D

I assume that RF includes the 22M, and I like the WW Dynapoint 'flash plated' 45gr. lead HP at 1500fps out of my H&R UV; much less destructive than the full house 22M and way more beans than the 22LR.
Yeah, its not a 32-20, but it'll put the thwack out there perty goot if RF is all you can use.

In Ohio we can use any caliber CF rifle on small game & vermin like whistle pigs and coyotes.  We cannot use a CF rifle on deer.  ???   458 Win Mag okay for fox squirrel, 357 Maxi carbine  not okay for whitetail.   Go figure that one out.

Yep, here in Ga. we can use a 22 hornet for deer, but not for small game.  Sometimes I wonder if the folks that make the rules have ever seen a gun..... :(

The same is somewhat true of public lands.  On Corp of Engineer managed land, I can use a shotgun with slugs or a muzzle loader for deer.  I cannot use a centerfire of any description.  Now whats more dangerous, a pistol caliber centerfire or a muzzie?  IMO the muzzie had greater range and energy, but that does not factor into the process.

My rhino gun is a Buffalo Classic in 45-70, rethroated just a bit, and shooting 405 or 500 gr. hardcast.  In truth if a rhino shows up in my yard, this will be the one I go for...... ;)

Loaded stout it will kill on both ends.  That is of course unless you have a sled like Tim, or steel shoulders like young Tyler. ;D
