6.8 rem encore

Ordered a rifle barrel yesterday.  Has anyone had any experience with this on an encore??

Great light recoiling cartridge.  I got a barrel on a 3 way swap and cut it down to 23" for better balance.  I was going to get rid of it but figured I'd keep it around in case one of my nieces or nephews wanted to go hunting.  I load the 100gr SP ahead of 30.5 H322.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.

130's shoot really well from my 23" Contender barrel, but expansion is questionable..no problem with 110's expanding though.  Very pleasant round to shoot.  Ideal for recoil sensitive folks.

What kind of velocities can you achieve? I guessed in the neighborhood of 2400+ fps.

I don't have a chrony...but Hodgdon lists some loads in the mid 2500's..
