« on: November 05, 2010, 01:47:39 PM »
What's the best crossbow in the 300 dollar range?  I saw a barnett jackal for 269 and a horton 150 for 300 and was curious. Thanks Steve

Well I purchased a jackal and it has worked out very well.I would recommend this bow to anyone starting out or setting up a young hunter. The bow has some nice features and shoots very well and seems heavily built for the price.I hope to shoot a deer next fall with it,by the time I recieved my crossbow permit our weather really went sour so I only shot a deer during the slug season. It will be the first archery season that I have used a crossbow.
