Hay corn belt, can you even buy ammo for the 5mm now days? I though it was discontinued years ago.

Aguila/Centurion has been producing ammo for several years now. It is not the original load and sometimes doesn't work very well. All in all though, 5mm Remington Mag is back!

Who says it is not as good as the original Remington ammo?  It works just fine in my Model 591.  Infact it is better than the original it shoots flatter, is faster and the bullet expands better, whats not to like about it.  I'll put it up against any 17HMR or 22 mag., yes I own several of each now.  Don't knock it until you've tried it.   >:(

Yes its back and it is better than ever! ;D

I only know from my personal experience with six individual 591s that the original factory ammo groups better in every one of them. I have some reloading equipment which allows me to place a 40 grain NBT over the

new powder and these perform as well as the original. On the 5mm forum results are mixed, hence sometimes it works well, otherntimes it doesn't. No complaint, just an observation.

How many empties you looking for?? I have no complaints about the Centourian ammo except the very newest Varmint load they are offering it is a little faster than the first stuff and did not shoot to the same poa in my M592 .So I switched back to the other stuff on latest PD hunt once its gone I will give the varmint load another chance. Only bought a couple of hundred to give them a try. Any of you guys got a Taurus 5mm? Kurt
