Knife and sheath
« on: February 27, 2011, 04:24:10 AM »
Since I've been home so much I've had a chance to mess around a bit!  So I got to finish up a knife and sheath for the son of a friend.

But darned if I didn't forget to take a clear picture of just the sheath!

I learned a lot making these.  The next few should be betterand better and better!

Nothing like a fixed blade to hang off your belt.

That's nice. The son of a friend will be proud of that.

I hope so.  The antler was from a buck his daddy killed last year.  I told my friend that if Trey wnted a bigger knife he would have to kill a bigger buck!   :D

Lotsa fun making this stuff.  I've found recently that I can concentrate on what I'm doing, like making a gift for a friend, and forget the troubles of life for a while...  Good for the old heart!
