gun vise plans
« on: October 18, 2003, 04:45:33 PM »
Somewhat off subject I know, but with all the do-it yourselfers on this forum I was hoping someone could help me out.  I have a friend who is a master carpenter/cabinet maker who is retired and has agreed to build me one if I can come up with the plans.  Any ideas folks?

Gun Vice Plans
« Reply #2 on: October 23, 2003, 08:49:17 AM »
I have a wooden gun vice for cleaning and holding firearms while working on them and etc.  It is quite old and I don't have any plans for it.  However, upon the request of a friend, I photographed the unit from several sides.  I keep it in my car trunk and take it to the range with me every time.  Works great.

Originally, it was designed for Rifles.  I made a change with a Door Hinge that allows me to quickly change from Rifle to Thompson Contenders.

Send me your email address and I will send you the pictures.
