It's All Your Fault
« on: December 19, 2003, 03:03:07 PM »
This is a photo of my first specialty handgun, a 30-30 WCF from Bullberry.

And now I have on order from Bullberry a 14" 209X50 Encore barrel and a 10" .30 Herrett for this Contender.  I'm holding each of you and the guys at Accurate Reloading responsible for getting me hooked on this expensive habit :-D

Thanks alot guys!!

X

These guys will do that to you. Thats what happened to me but so far I have managed to hold it to one Contender frame and two factory barrels. I dont know how much longer I can keep it like that though.
I also read the cast bullet forum, among several others, and I'll be dang if I dont keep looking at that turkey fryer thats just sittin' here and thinking about my friend thats a manager at a tire store and all those wheel weights and ...  Well you get the idea. These folks here at Graybeard Outdoors are a bad influence.

Hey X, did you know about the 15" Encore 209 factory barrel? Might be a bit cheaper than the Bullberry. I usually go with custom barrels only in calibers that the factory doesn't make. Either way, nice rig!

X-caliber,
Gorgeous firearm! I really like the laminate! Is that from Bullberry, also? I would be very interested in a set!

Thanks for the compliments on my shootin' iron guys.  I really like it.

Myronman3:  I honestly can't remember what I paid for the laminated grips, but give Fred a call and I'm sure that he can fix you up!!

HHI4694:  Yeah, I used to own a factory 209X50 pistol barrel.  I could never get it to shoot.  I hope that Bullberry's barrel does better.  I'm buying a used one so it will be just a few dollars more than I can buy a new factory barrel.  I'll let ya'll know how it does!

drdoolittle:  Yes the grip and fore-end are from Bullberry.  Give Fred a call.  I'm sure he'll fix you up!!
