Bullberry Hanger Bar Question for Encore Rifle
« on: January 10, 2011, 12:37:33 PM »
I have a factory bull (.850 at the muzzle) rifle barrel and set of Bullberry Encore wood set up for a hanger bar.  I have no hanger bar.  Fred wants $35 and I ship the barrel to him to get it installed, so shipping x2..... I will be $65-$75 deep in the hanger bar before I get it back to me......

and the question is...

Is there another option?

I may have a hanger bar.  I don't know if it would be the same size as a Bullberry bar but I'll be happy to send it to you for you to check, if you'd like.  All I need to do is FIND it... ;D
Yeah, I'm a rifle looney

Fred has to dove tail screw mounts like the contenders in order to use his hanger bar and forearm. Another option might be send the forearm to Stratton Custom and have it opened up to one of his hanger bars that bolt to factory barrels. You would have to buy one of his hanger bars.
Bullberry uses one screw to bar and Stratton uses 2.Stratton is longer.
