7mm TCU vs 7-30 Waters
« on: November 24, 2010, 05:20:11 PM »
I found some interesting information on the Nosler website in the reloading data.
They have the 7mm TCU beating the 7-30 Waters out of a 14" barrel?! This is the first time that I have heard this. I only looked at the 120 grain ballistics but I personally found this interesting. I reload and shoot a 10"TCU and a 21" Waters and like them both.

Their 7-30 data is a bit on the slow side.  I don't know why that would be, but I consistently get 2490-2510 fps from 120 grain Nosler or Hornady bullets out of my 14" 7-30.
