No, but Ive been thinking of the 219 AI Zipper. You would have a rimmed cartridge (best for SSs) and minimize the back thrust and the std. 30-30 ejector will work. I think it perform about the same?? or am I all wet on this?

No, but I had one in my hands at a gun show once. It was a custom job with a pallet wood stock, as someone hand stamped XXX over the 223 and added 222mag underneath.
I almost bought it, I really just wanted the frame and thought the barrel might be fun to play with, but the feller thought he had gold and was trying to sell it for that price in weight!  ::)

2 months later I saw the same Gent at another show 200 miles away, and he still had the gun in his rack. I had to dig the guy just a little bit and made a lowball offer on it. He just made a  Pi$$ O%$ kinda face at me

Here is a little different idea. You could go with the .22-.204 wildcat. The idea behind it is, much more higher quality brass available, and it already is an "improved" case, with less shoulder taper. I thought the idea was stupid myself at first, until the positives were explained. .222 mag brass is not always around and from what I have heard is not always the best quality.
