Just got moved to Portland Tx and decided to try out Indian Point Pier tonight. 1/4 ounce chartreuse jig head and a white Berkley Gulp Shrimp did the trick. Caught about 25 Sand Trout and one nice Speck. The biggest Sand was 16 1/2 inches and the Speck was 20 inches. Felt kinda weird, several locals came up and asked what I was using for bait......the internet and asking around makes such a difference in discovering what works.
