Thanks for getting the link to this article.   I have the original paper article that  I cut out of a magazine a few years ago and I had just about forgotten about it in my bookcase.   It definitely tells iit like it is.      45/70 is a great cartridge!

     That article might have just tipped the balance for me. I've been thinking about a .45-70 for quite a while.

It's a great article.  It's one of 3 that settled me.  I was actually going to buy some of the crater lite 2's there, but he's 2-3 months out and I needed bullets now.  8(  Hopefully, I'll get some on order and play with 'em next year.  ;)
