topper 048 410/30-30

I found a 048 with two barrels at my favorite toy store.  seemed very light and  delicate compared to current offerings.  I can see a handy stalking rifle here.  anyone care to tell me about them?  I'm looking at this as a walking gun and small game getter.  I have been considering a 30-30 anyway and have 410's so feeding it won't be a problem.

 Just picked up a 30-30/20ga in a Model 258 probably about the same weight range. Great little woods
rifles, have a few  and love 'em. You will enjoy carrying them and the ones I have are fairly accurate. You

It doesn't appear that the Model 48 was ever offered in 30-30, just shotgun, so someone has likely added the rifle barrel to it after the fact, I would be very leary of using a rifle barrel on an old shotgun frame that was never intended to be used as such, the 30-30 was offered on old H&Rs, but they were different models.
