Early Encore forend different.
« on: July 25, 2010, 05:00:47 PM »
In Thompson Center catalog #25 (~1998?) it shows the Encore rifle forend #7704 with what I would describe as a tongue on the front end, slightly widened on the front end.  The forends now are all fairly straight now without the "tongue".  I am curious when this change occurred and is there any problem fitting the older forend on the latest tapered rifle barrels?
‎Is it really Zombie Max, if it's not .357 Max?

Should be no difference at all.

The exterior shape was slightly different for awhile, but the barrel fit is still the same.
