How "HOT" can you load a 300 win mag?

I am wondering if i load my own ammo, how "hot" i can load em? Can I safely push a 165 or a 180 gr bullet 4000fps? think about the energy that would pack lol, 500 yds out and still carrying 3000 foot pounds of energy? I may be thinking far fetch here, I am not sure what the brass can handle before it fails.

I don't know if this is a prank thread, but no you can't do that. Stick with published data, do a little research first & then you will know just how far-fetched your question was.

it wasn't a prank. I just see all the factory loads coming in at around 3k fps and wonder why it needs to stop there, why can a load be developed to push 4k fps. Is there a 30 cal range round that does have number like that?
