9mm H&R ??
« on: July 10, 2010, 03:46:44 PM »
Im getting another suppressor  This one is 9mm for my Uzi.  I like having a single shot to put my cans on so I can load subsonics and not worry about feed problems.  Did H&R, NEF  make a single shot in 9mm?

Basically I want to set it up like my 7.62x39 H&R .  I also have a 308 set up with a super sniper fixed 10 power s/f  Its a great deer hunting set up.

This set up with sub sonic hand loads I have stepped out on the front deck and shot it with the wife inside the house .  She was less than 10 foot away inside and didnt hear a thing.

The 7.62x39 sub sonics have about the same foot pounds of energy @ 50 yards as a 44mag.  Shooting into several phone books the results was about the same.

The factory never made one but it would be a very cool Handi.

South Arkansas  which is a VERY friendly class3 state.  You can hunt suppressed and full auto if you wish.

We did take a deer here last year with a FA suppressed HKmp5.

I host this party every year here @ my house.  We also have a class3 suppressed deer hunt weekend.

So, I have a 410 H&R I cut down for my baby girl.  She has out grown it.  What do you guys say?  Rebarrel it using the parts from the 410 barrel  to mount a 9mm blank?

I was going to do this with a 5.45x39 barrel but there was not enuff "meat" on the AK74 brl. profile.

I would need the brl. diameter  pretty good size. My end cap on the can is designed to replace the uzi brl. nut.

Couldnt you use a 357 magnum?  There is only .002" difference in the diameter between the 357 and 9mm

I have one I started awhile back. I used a 357 barrel, and a 223 ejector. on a 410 stub. its gotten sidelined by the heat, but this winter it should be shooting DR

Ark..huh? Well anytime I see a supressed Handi it's mostly been from our overseas friends that don't have to deal with too much redtape in this area as most of us do here in the states. Nice Handi by they way, have fun buddy..

Its not that big of a deal depending where you live.  The stamp is 200 dollars. You can set up a trust and cut all the  photos, & leo sign off .
