I have 2 Contender Carbine sets, an older stainless model and a new (unfired yet) G2. I probably only need one. Which should I sell? Do the new 23 inch heavy barrels work OK on the pre-G2 frames? I know they'll fit, I'm thinking more about balance and appearance, what are your thoughts?

      Sell neither.  What you need to get rid of is that word "need".  Pun intended.

If you( need) to get rid of one of them sell me the stainless because I wont-need one :)
I got some barrels I could do a trade with that I dont need or wont.

Old frame, new barrel, my wood, Harris bipod. Looks good shoots even better.


I "need" 5 guns, I think I have 45. What does need have to do with anything.

I definitely prefer the old style Contender frame and routinely use it with the newer barrels.  To me, it looks and shoots. good.
