A quick indorsement on one of Paco's sites. Over at Sixgunner.com, on the Lever gun link there was an article about accurrizing an 1894. My 94 had gone south in the accuracy department because of the screw that holds the magazine end-cap had wollered out the barrel where it was inset. Had my local smith cut a dovetail in the barrel, insert a slug, bore the slug slightly oversized to the original hole and lined it with a neopreme washer. I'm back in business again. Accuracy was restored and it is a long term fix for what I consider would be a recurrent problem. Didn't go the whole accuracy route as I didn't want to fool around with thinning the fore stock.
