Right from H&R!  The Topper Deluxe, and Topper Trap Gun stocks will drop right in.  Go here, for part numbers for the Trap Gun stock:

called nef today they said the shotgun foreend would be wider than the 45-70 stock. 1/8 to 1/4 inch on each side is what he said. any thoughts on this? i thought he was talking about the slot for the barrel but could he have been referring to the outer diameter?

The Topper Deluxe Classic(TDC) stock has a bit more clearance at the spacer for the chamber swell of the TDC barrel, otherwise it has pretty much the same barrel channel as other stocks, it will fit fine on rifle barrels, I have two of them, one on the 405Win(rebored 38-55) and the other on a 44mag.

Tim

I just measured both TDC forends, they're the same average width as other forends, pallet wood and laminated, ~1.6"-1.7".

thanks tim i was concerned about it looking to large or the barrel channel looking too wide, he said theres no difference in the 12 or 20 gauge size is this true also? i guess what im asking is do i order the 12 or 20 for my handi rifle. he said they will be doing inventory till wednesday so ill call them later in the week to order it. im a sucker for pretty wood i guess. just random ? do you know of any one who has nickel plated there reciver? not that i would but it may look cool on a handi. i had a remington 510 that was my grandpas nickel plated a few years ago to preserve it from rust and man it looks good.

No difference is standard shotgun barrels, just the 10ga and 12ga USH barrels.

H&R has made matte nickel frames, the stainless Handis have em, as does the Topper and one of the Survivors.
