Ultra hunter 308?

I am looking at the Ultra hunter 308 (SB2-808) is this a bull barrel? It does not say on their web page.

It depends on what you call a bull barrel.  It's not a true cylindrical tube, but has some taper. I have one and it measures (IIRC) about 0.800 at the muzzle.  It's a fairly stiff barrel.  Mine has the laminated stock, and a 6-groove, right twist, 1:10 barrel.  I haven't done any specific load development for it, but my standard .308 load groups into 1.5 inches at 100 yards.  My standard .308 load features Reloder 15 powder and 165 Gameking bullets at about 2700 fps.  It's a good hunting load in a good hunting rifle.

The Ultra Hunters normally have standard taper barrels, the only factory 308 bull barrel comes on the Survivor or it's available as an accessory barrel #808. The Ultra Varmints have bull barrels.

That is what I thought by looking at their web page but when I looked at this http://www.rrarms.com/catalog.php?prod=GSB2808, I thought different ???

That's the Ultra Hunter, model SB2-808, guess you'll have to order one to find out, Bud's has it for less money delivered!!  ;D

Got my 308 Ultra yesterday WOO HOO!!!! ;D . Mounted the scope and cleaned everything real well , especially the latch and lug of any oil. Now to get some ammo loaded and shoot it.
