It depends on what you call a bull barrel. It's not a true cylindrical tube, but has some taper. I have one and it measures (IIRC) about 0.800 at the muzzle. It's a fairly stiff barrel. Mine has the laminated stock, and a 6-groove, right twist, 1:10 barrel. I haven't done any specific load development for it, but my standard .308 load groups into 1.5 inches at 100 yards. My standard .308 load features Reloder 15 powder and 165 Gameking bullets at about 2700 fps. It's a good hunting load in a good hunting rifle.
