Just returned from early muzzleloader trip in the delta country of south louisiana. I am shooting an encore 209x50 with 3 777 pelets and T/C's new shockwave 250grn sabots. I had a cow horn buck step out at about 60 yards. The preformance of the shockwave was awesome! I new from the range the accuracy was there, but didn't know how its preformance would be on game. DON"T HAVE TO WONDER ANY MORE!!! The impact litterally knocked the deer off its feet, it did not take another step. the exit was massive bordering on overkill. The bullet hit a little high on the chest cavity, breaking the top of his ribs. Anyone considering the shockwave give them a try...
