I have a Tikka Whitetail 595 in 308 - synthetic.
I am trying to find out the size and thread data on the "font fastening screw" (tem 77 in the part diagram in the manual) It is the forward screw holding the floorplate / trigger guard assembly and stock to the action.
I want to replace it with a screw that has a swivel stud as the head to mount a ching sling.
