CZ 452 17 HMR "Price"
« on: December 02, 2009, 09:57:16 AM »
Goodday Everyone

I was in a local gun store and noticed the owner had a CZ 452 17 HMR "Special" on clearance for $250.00 and tax. I think this is a good price? Any thoughts? I have shot several CZ 223's and their accuracy was awesome. Thought I might try one.

Special is the Beechwood, adjustable trigger and adjustable sights.

If it's brand new, then yes, that's a really good deal Casey. About the lowest price I can find on a new one is $334.00 shipped. Even used, it's not too shabby of a deal if the rifle is in excellent condition.

If it's the Special Military Training rifle, I'd buy that it in a heartbeat at that price, especially when you shouldn't have to pay a transfer fee since you're getting it from the dealer. It's just like a Lux except for the Beechwood stock (the .17 has a shorter barrel than the .22lr), which I think are some of the finest looking stocks that CZ provides, I mean for Beechwood anyway. The Beechwood on my daughter's Scout is very nice.

Carbinecasey, I was looking for that exact rifle in a CZ last month!......No Cigar! I look all over could not locate one and I didn't want to wait 2 months. I settled for a Savage in the 17 and only hope it shoots as good as the rest of our CZ rifles have already done. You got a good price on that rifle. ;D ;)

Heavens yes!  I paid more than that after shopping several years ago, although in the very nicely blued/walnut version.  Buy it, fix the trigger, get a good scope and shoot 30-06 brass at 100-yards and impress your friends!
