does anyone know if our military has developed that..
it don t seem impossible to me,in this day an time..
our soldiers over in dangerouse areas could use that addition to thier
equipment..i know the friendlys an enemy is gonna probably smell the same..
but at least on patrol on a dark night ..knowing if two legged animals are out there in the dark..makes sense to me.. heck if they could detect scent an read it,, half as good as say a fox..
id want my boy to have it.. if he was over there.. slim

Wouldn't It pick up your smell or others in your company?  How would you be able to tell Friend from Foe?
If it could be programmed in a way. To ignore your own or your companies odor. It would work great In Alerting you of others presence in the area.
I think all and all.  Heat signature equipment and night vision would be More effective.
Very Neet Idea though.   Would be great techknowledgy to use for Bomb and Drug  Detection.  Don't they use something Like this in airports?

The ones that smell like camels and goats are the enemy.
