I would buy I just bought a 45/70 and don't have the funds.  I was thinking about you guys and asked about shipping the rifle, but the owner said she is not set up to ship firearms yet.  I thought the price was a little high at $279 with a wood stock.  If anybody in the SW PA or N WV area wants to know where it is at send me a PM.

$279 is a little high. Is it brand new? I am from SW Pa.

All the handis I've found down here are all 279.00 new. At least at the magor stores Bass Pro and Gander. The mom and pop shop. price depends on what kind of moodd he's in.

I guess I am lucky the last two I picked up were only $239.  The 45/70 with syn. stock I just got two weeks ago.  The shop I normally buy from is not a chain store but probably has as many guns as Gander Mt.
