Remington 700 classic in 250 savage.........

I am looking at a Remington 700 classic rifle in .250 Savage (it was issued in 1984 or somewhere around there) on Guns America.  It's basically advertised as 98-99%, like new except for a couple of dings in the stock.  I want the rifle as a hunter/shooter, not a collector.  Anybody have a blue book price on something like this?

According to my blue book it is worth $450 as 98%.  This rifle was issued in 1984.
