B/C .45LC last day
« on: January 30, 2010, 07:58:07 AM »
Today is the last day for the .45LC Buffalo Classic through Davidsons. Going price is $260. I'll be picking mine up Monday ;D I'm now consider myself a budding Handiholic. I bought my .45/70 BC three months ago and have since picked up a .308 and .223 in Real Tree synthetic stock from Dick's. With the .45LC BC coming into the stable, that'll make four with no stopping in sight.

thanks for the tip!   I ordered one, theres 98 left to go! this took care of a couple of problems for me. Ive been wanting a 45, and I needed an SB2 reciver. I bought a 223 barrel thinking I could fit it to my rifle recivers , only to find that they were pre sb2. now that I have a new reciver I can also get an accessery barrel in 4570. thanks again, DR

99+ available. Other than that they have a couple of .243, .22 and .204. That is interesting.

Ordered mine this morning and it was at 99+ then. They also had one .500 S&W in stock at that point, but that must have sold.

I'd love to have one, but unable to take advantage of the sale.  A handloaded 45LC out of my revolver is plenty of deer medicine at handgun distances. I think the BC is as easy to tote as a revolver, with much more range and better ballistics.  It's really all the rifle a man would need, unless he's hunting where most shots are long.

I was thinking about getting one of these but after the extra fees, taxes and whatnot they were going to be over $300 for one of these for the cheapest price quote that I got.

With my local gun shop the $260 carbine came to $296 out the door including taxes, transfer and background check.

I live in CA where even with the $22 in taxes, and $30 in state fees it was still cheaper than buying a used gun. if I had bought a used gun Id still have paid $22 in tax, $30 in state fees, shipping, and another $60 to $100 in transfer fees. yeah it sucks but its where I live. that made this a bargain! The price went up $124 overnight and now it's at $384 at Davidson's. I also saw it for sale at Able Ammo for $411.39!

Glade to be able to help out a few. As big as Phoenix is and being a gun city, the .45LC-BC is hard to find and is usually in the $400 range. I picked up a .45LC Thunderer from a local shop Saturday and he had two .45LC-BC @ $435 each >:( I mentioned the Davidsons sale and he said he wasn't a Davidsons dealer. I imagine those carbines will sit there a good long while. Davidsons is only a 100 miles from me and they ship to my local shop daily so I should be able to pick it up Monday ;D
