.223 finally got here.

She's a synthetic with the very nice new style stock and a CBA serial number, arrived today.  Her scope'll be here Monday or Tuesday (right in the middle of really crappy weather).  I'll bore sight her, dial her in and do a range report as soon as I can.  It's a standard contour extractor barrel and I think I'm gonna like it.

If you don't already know this, You are going to love the .223 caliber! I have shot everything from squirrel (headshots) to 300 lb boar hog.

I tried A1 Optic red dots and in my opinion they outdid the TruGlos.  I'm trying a 3-12X50 Illuminated BDC A1 to start.  I don't know if it is worth anything, but I'll find out as soon as enough snow is gone to shoot distance.  It is a cheap scope, so I've got tongue in cheek on this one......we'll see,... and I'll post it.
