Amending Exec Order 12425
« on: December 23, 2009, 06:07:21 AM »
http://threatswatch.org/analysis/2009/12/wither-sovereignty/

"Last Thursday, December 17, 2009, The White House released an Executive Order "Amending Executive Order 12425." It grants INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) a new level of full diplomatic immunity afforded to foreign embassies and select other "International Organizations" as set forth in the United States International Organizations Immunities Act of 1945."

One more step along the path towards trying our troops for war crimes at the ICC.

I hope I'm not going too far off topic here, but one of the web bot project predictions has to do with disappeared persons like you mention TM7.

disappeared persons?  so obama shuts down gitmo and tries his own troops, then quietly shuttles people off to interpol?  can anyone pump up the volume on this one because I'm in the dark about it (if I seem totally ignorant, fix me!).

thanks

I don't like this new wrinkle ... granted they are only advisory in authority but things tend to creep.

It does no such thing.  It is all lies, distortions and pure bull poop.  There are dozens of real issues that we should be going after Obama for.  This kind of stuff is made up by malcontents and conspiracy theorists wearing tinfoil hats.  They are not smart enough to go after Obama on the real issues that matter to this country.

The Interpol conspiracy rumor has been debunked by factcheck:

What interpol got with the exec order #12425 is immunity from records searches, inquiries or oversight....except from the highest admin office; and so have the ability to operate internally here with impunity.

There are no Interpol "agents" in the US.  Interpol matters in the US are handled by law enforcement officers who are US citizens.

If there are none here, why were they given diplomatic immunity ? If they are not here how are they going to break laws here to be immune from?

This is more unadulterated horse hockey from WND.  Interpol was not given diplomatic immunity.

it's true they do not have "agents" in any of the 188 countries. However they do have at least 25 employees, some foreign, involved in collecting and sharing LE intelligence between the countries. This act gives the foreign agency exemption from corporate responsibilities like paying property tax and social security.

But this admin undertook this action while more tightly integrating INTERPOL into our DOJ, tightening our connection to the ICC, etc. Were moving in the direction of a single international LE org, and each step no matter how minor has huge ramifications.
