Blackhawk Compstock SpecOps Stock on a Mossberg 500 question

Anybody use one of these? Used to be called Knoxx stocks I think.
Are they worth the $100+ price tag? Or am I better off just getting a limbsaver recoil pad?
My gun is a 12 Gauge model 500 and I want to tame the recoil down.
