Yellow envelope
« on: November 16, 2009, 01:48:32 PM »
Got a yellow envelope in the mail today from 2009 obama AGENDA SURVEY from the republican national committee.  Opened it up and there are two pages telling what the survey is and a plea for 500, 250, 100, 50 or even 30 dollars.  A full page of questions on one side, 1/3 on the other and the rest begging for money.  What the h377?  I will fill out their survey but am not sending one cent to the bastids!  On the return envelope they beg for you to put a stamp on it to save them money.  Look on the yellow envelope....it only cost them .08 cents to mail.  BS.  Also on the postage it says non-profit organization.  What a laugh.  What morons!  If you are a registered republican and get this are you going to fill it out, send money or what?  I am going to change my voter registration to Libertarian.  What say you?

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Never, ever, ever, ever, trash stuff like that.  Never hang up those folks when they call either.  Send the paper back... talk on the phone as long as possible.  Make them SPEND their money dealing with you instead of sheeple who believe their stories....

In fact... it might be beneficial to lie to them on the surveys and to lie to them on the phone.  If you can convince them that everything is hunky-dory in your little slice of heaven then they shouldn't need to spend as much time, money and energy in your area.  Then you smoke them at the ballot box.

Stuff a brick (or the rest of the junk mail you got that day) in the envelope and send it back postage due.

Seems like fund raising boilerplate to me. Just replace Obama with NRA, AARP, or the RNC and it'll read the same almost regardless of who is sending it.

I sent three different ones back over the last few months with hand written notes stateing that they don't listen to the public anymore and only serve the corporations. No donation, no stamp. Then the yellow one I threw in the trash and will all that follow. eddiegjr

Dont think they really care one way or another about how I feel about obama.  Think they open the envelope, remove check, (if any) and trash the survey.  Dirty rotten scumbags.

and no this is NOT what I think of them but if I typed what I feel Greybeard and the mods would ban me real quick.   :D

I don't think they look at them either or listen to any citizen. I sent the hand written notes for my own satisfaction and to cost them the stamp. I might do that with all the rest of the surveys I get. If it has return postage, return a blank sheet, no stamp. Trivial but 10,000,000 empty returns may be the only voice we ever get with the Republicans.

All the other surveys from those I support will continue to go in the trash. eddiegjr

I still get that stuff from the RNC.  Have alot of of really big steel washers in the shop.  I always put two or three of those washers in their postpaid envelope and send it back.  The AARP gets the same treatment.

Quite frankly I'd be happy to donate to a candidate or party who looks after the interest of the people, and of the states.

Unfortunately, we don't have one that's viable...... ???

I threw my "registered" yellow envelope into the wood burning stove. I seriously doubt that they will read anything other than the attached check on any survey they get back.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?
