I was going to wait till christmas to buy my handi I ordered from my FFL.... I was under the impression I'd get my bonus right before or after the holiday but I was told "... more like january 15th.." so I just put it on credit card. I hate credit but I couldn't wait anymore- I opened it up when my FFL got it, gave it a look over and it felt so good I was hooked right there.
anyways, it locks up tight and feels rock-solid. I think it's a keeper, but I still gotta take it out to know for sure..... either way I'll be on here a lot more the next two weeks. can't find anymore 45-70 bullets in town (and I live in the town that hosts sierra bullets!) so I think I'm gonna have to start casting quick. other than the bullet problem I'm good. the only powder I have that's suitable for the sierra #8900's is varget and I think that load won't be fun but I have an unused holiday turkey to bust so it's gonna be interesting and maybe enough to ignore the pain. hopefully I get a smile to go with the bruised shoulder.
