Am I reading the FAQ correctly?

I looked up the FAQ about the differences in frames...My serial no. starts with NF so I'm assuming that it is an NEF made in 1991 and can NOT take either the .357 or the .44 barrels.  Am I reading everything correctly?

They'll fit 357 and 44 mag barrels to any frame made since 1987, SB1 or SB2.

I thought that's what I was getting out of one thread, but then I double checked the FAQ and got the assumption I asked about! :(  Hence I needed to ask myself! :)

That's good news! :)  Now I think I will send in my frame and get a .44 barrel!! :)  That would be an ideal pair, a Survivor with a 12ga and a .44mag barrel. Whoohoo! :)
