Disgusted with the state of affairs in Washington?  Nervous that the gun grabbers are in power and own the Senate, the House, and the White House?  Do you want to do something RIGHT NOW.  Well you can.  Lots of localities are having elections in just a few weeks.

While doing some research for a small 2 minute pitch about ignoring the "nonpartisan" aspect of an upcoming local election, I came across the following tidbits.  Senator Feinstein, an enemy of law-abiding gun owners if ever there was one, began her career as Mayor of San Francisco.  By California constitutional law, this is a nonpartisan position.  Joe Biden began his career as a county councilman in Delaware.  And, B. Hussein Obama began as a neighborhood organizer.

Whenever confronted with a political race at the local level, we should remember that the "nonpartisan" politican might be springboarding to the national level--where he or she will be a member of the party that supports firearms ownership (Republican) or the party that wants to take 'em away for good (Dimokratik Party).

Therefore, unless and until things change overall with the two major parties and their views toward the Second Amendment, we should VOTE REPUBLICAN!!

We should vote Republican each and every chance we get--from dogcatcher, city council, county commissioner, mayor, on up.

If you have a local election coming up in November, you can and should find out which party the candidates belong to.  If one candidate is a Republican and the other is a Dem, then vote for the Republican.  Tell your family.  Tell your friends.  Tell your neighbors.  Tell your hunting buddies.  Tell random people at gunstores.  Tell people at the gun ranges.  But don't tell the Dems... let's surprise them all with overwhelming losses for the party that would disarm us.

It's something you can do right now that is legal, ethical, moral, and USEFUL.

If one is Democrat, one is Republican, and one is Libertarian, I will vote Libertarian (and the libertarian could be on the republican ticket). Otherwise I will look at their platform and if I don't see what I like, I will not vote. And that is just me!

Libertarians are for all rights (and small government), not just gun rights.
The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson

we have that type of election around here.Do whatever you can to stop it if it comes to your area.  i don't like a lot about either of the two big parties, and the Libertarians are a little too close to anarchy SOME PLACES for me.  we have a good, reasonable Libertarian party here in N. C.  The democrats at the state level are pretty conservative for the most part, and some are "blue Dogs", who I will vote for, if I think they are otherwise qualified. Our U.S. Congressman, Heath Schuler, is a Blue dog, and will get my vote until a QUALIFIEDrep or Libertarian comes along.  Be very careful of someone who doesn't want you to know wqhat they stand or, or more important, who they stand with.
