Man, that's what I'm tahkin 'bout!
You gotta love those pawnshops, it's like fishing, once in a while, if you're lucky, you get a good one!
There might be 399 overpriced pcs. of junk but then you find that 1 something great.
Congratulations.

I'd like to find a deal like that....I did pick up a 12ga in excellent shape at a pawn shop a few days ago for $75.  I would rather have your deal though...

Guess what i found at a pawn shop.....auction.
« Reply #8 on: October 23, 2009, 05:30:37 AM »
Hello,

A few years ago my cousin-in-law and I went to a pawn shop auction where they were selling off a bunch of guns(over 150). I saw a "NEF Push Button" .280 with laminated stock and took a look. It was in excellent shape so we decided to try to acquire it. As it was brought up, the bid started at $50 and went slowly until cuz got it for $120. Very good rifle, which I have now due to a trade, and shoots great. I also got a "NEF Boat Paddle" 12 ga. 3 1/2" shotgun, black, for a whopping $57. Most people do not like the old timey guns and had rather pay $450 for a twice wore out Browning. Hey, I am the first on to tell them, " Oh, Those old ugly guns ain't no account" right before I snap them up. Good catch on the 45/ .410. With deals like that, it doesn't hurt at all to "modify for function". Have a great day.
