Off to Colorado

Im leaving today for Colorado!! Im taking the ole handi 45-70 and my sidekick. Hope to have some good pics to post in two weeks.

Well, I have never made the trip but have always talked about going out there since my teens with my dad.  I am now in my late 30's....hmmmm...I better get it going...

Lazer you and I are in the same boat ...

 Been wanting an elk and a antelope for alot of years , even talked with day in my late teens about  .. Well Arkansas now has a lottery for elk hunting here in my state now that just leaves getting out to the plains for my pronghorns ;)

well sorry to say I have no pictures to share. We saw alot of elk but nothing big enough to shoot. A great time was had by all and I guess thats what counts.

my hunt in colo got moved to the 3rd week in november :'(

I was hunting in the san jaun national forest in unit 73. I usually hunt the uncompadre but thought I would try something diffrent.

Gendoc, you may have better luck at that time if they get some more snow and cold weather. It warmed up into the 60's everyday.
