has anybody ever suppressed a nef or tc or any breakaction rifle. maybe some guys that do varmit shooting.

ok found the answer to my own question on ssk industries. now i need to know if a suppressor counts as barrel length.

Only if its permanently attached and non-removable.  Overwise the suppressor [design] would be considered to be a "can" and the bbl length would be measured from the breech end of the chamber to the muzzle end of the threads.

Yes.  Have a .308 suppressor on a shortened 7.62x39. Handi rifle, of course.  Nice short package with a 16" bbl. Hearing safe with supersonics and "Click.  Wait, wait, Thunk" with subsonics. Really fun. Just shot it yesterday.
A suppressed .357 would be a fun project. Think 200gr hardcast at 1000fps.
