you really have only one choice and that is to send it back to the factory.

Going to have to try it myself as the factory no longer makes the 99 savage.

Pump epoxy into the cracks.
The older I get...The better I was.

think about it this way, there is some kind of major stress there it it is strong enough to crack the reviver in two  places do you really want your face that close to the receiver if somethings goes wrong with a home repair job?

Ricky p, I would be happy to pay someone to do it right if I could find a compentent per that would take the job. There are no decent gunsmiths where I live in SE, Missouri. Can you recommend someone ? Thanks

try and call  savage and talk to them they maybe able to help you more then anyone on here.

Just because they no longer make the 99 doesn't mean they can not work on them anymore.

I have repaired a couple for myself.

I made a wedge to fit into the head of the stock and pushed it in just enough to spread the cracks a little.

Mix a little Acraglas and drip it in from the inside onto the cracks. use low pressure compressed air to blow the adhesive from the inside until it comes out on the outside.

Wrap the head in a rag and put rubber bands around it. Wipe off the excess from the outside and  and spread out the excess on the inside.

check it in a hour for excess pushing out on the outside. Keep it clean and the crack will almost disappear, blobs and smears of glass on the outside look like crap. Let it sit a couple of days and your good to go.
