Hello,is it worth
it apying 55 bucks
for the easy open
contender conversion?
The Thompson tech
told me I could have troubles
with old barrels fitting.
anyone have experience?

I've used the same barrels in the first and second generation t/c frames and have had no issues with the barrels fitting. Personally I think it is just a matter of technique when opening a t/c. I started shooting silly wett back in the day and found that in no time flat you could get the "snap" of opening the action. The easy open action does make it easier though, but couldn't tell you whether or not it is worth it.
