Accuracy and Oil on breech face
« on: September 19, 2009, 11:29:24 AM »
Can someone explain to me why oil on the breech face affects accuracy on the Handi-Rifle.  I am just trying to understand why this affects accuracy.

Oil on the breech face is not a huge deal. Oil on the LATCH IS.  It all boils down to consistency. By its design its a variable lockup. Snap it hard and get more engagement. Close it gently and get less. Make the latch, clean and dry, then close consistently for best results.

Its simple the nature of the beast.
