Just getting back into reloading, what distance of set back (bullet from the barrel rifling do you use) .30?

Well, in a single shot, like a Contender, I would start either "on" the lands, or 10 thousandths off the lands and go from there.
Just my preference. I'm sure you'll get as many different answers as you get replies...

Seat again the rifling and then screw the seating stem about an 1/8 of a turn out...
I do know that 0.30 is a long way and probably not the best choice!
