Al Goerg and the Hollow Pointer
« on: September 10, 2009, 04:25:16 PM »
I was going threw some old boxes of reloading equipment the other day and found an old package. Its contents, some documents that were wrapped around an original Hollow Pointer and small hex wrench. It appears to be from around the time of his death. One is dated 1967 and is from a Gallant publishing co., Inc. GUN WORLD MAGAZINE publisher informing the addressee of the "grizzly" plane crash details very shortly after the wreck was found. Another is a large black/white photo of Goerg with a trophy kill holding a pistol and has a hand written paragraph and signiture by his wife. Original mailing package and label with GOERG ENTERPRISES as return address 2 Lincoln 4cent stamps still intact. Could it be one of the last ever sold???? I am seeking more imformation. When did GOERG ENTERPRISES start & stop selling The Hollow Pointer? I have a head full of questions and any imformation regarding the subject will be very much appreciated.

I'm not sure about value but, I've still got one in my sock drawer, in original packaging, along with one of his explosive bullet jigs?
