 Yes, it was a top 40 hit in the 60's.They were one hit wonders,as were many artists at that time.The play lists back then,were not as restrictive as today,resulting in many bands getting radio air play.

unfortunatly, I heard it and heard it and heard it....Well you get the point. If I never hear that or American pie again I will consider my life complete ;D
