Ted Kennedy was a rotten self serving POS. He has lied and cheated his way thru life. Lies and cheating can't help him now. Good riddance.

A classic example of our justice system at work, this POS should have been jailed in July of 1969.  I hope he has to face Mary Jo in the hereafter and explain his actions to her.

I think he will have to talk very loud and very fast because she will be on one side of the gate listening to all the pretty sounds and he will be on the other side about to board the south bound HATIES EXPRESS.
ALL ABOARD!!!

I am certainly no fan of Kennedy, however, there are some things that must be mentioned about Mary Jo and this situation.
Not to defame Mary Jo, but, this was not a kidnapping.
The kennedy's were notorious in their womanizing conquest.
This was the era of free love--feels good, do it.
This was a party house and there was a party going on..and on...and on.
She was there of her choosing.
NOW--I'm serious--I don't condone anything about this sorid mess, it should never have happened.  BUT, I don't know the eternal fate of either.
I hope--for I cannot wish anyone to an eternity in Hell--that both are forgiven by Christ.
Blessings

Being left to drown is a bit steep a penalty for sin and stupidity.

And /he/ got away with murder.

any of the rest of us would have rotted in jail; as well we should have if we would have done that.  BUT....that girl was guilty of nothing other than riding with the wrong person.   ted was a coward and got away with it his entire life.  i am not the one to decide his fate, i will just say i am damn glad i dont have to answer for his actions.   and, his last name wont do $#!* for him now.
