Winchester Super X Centerfire Rifle
« on: October 02, 2009, 08:10:40 AM »
I was just in Gander Mountain the other day and came across a Winchester Super X semi-automatic rife in .270 WSM.  I was not even aware that Winchester made an autoloader now.  Is this a new development?  Does anyone have any experience with these firearms?  They seem to be priced right in between the BAR and the Remington 750.  Just wondering how they stack up.

The only Winchester Super-X I'm aware of is their semi-automatic shotgun. IIRC, this evolved into the Super-X3. However, I do recall a new model of a semi-auto center-fire rifle which is cloned from the older Winchester Model 100. Hopefully someone else viewing this thread can add to this.
